The project involves the partial restyling of a two-level apartment, featuring a gallery overlooking the ground floor and a terrace on the first floor. The intervention focuses on the kitchen/living area and the bathroom, within a context characterized by high-quality existing finishes, which are preserved and reinterpreted in the new layout.
The project takes as its reference a Palestinian tapestry belonging to the client, from which the color palette is derived. Shades of light blue, burgundy, and cream white are translated into the space in a calibrated way, creating visual continuity between the different areas.

The kitchen is relocated and defined by a glass partition that delineates its boundaries without interrupting the relationship with the living room. A custom low cabinet develops around the central column, becoming a connecting element and guiding the transition between functions.

The bathroom is conceived as an intimate and cohesive space. The terrazzo floor, inspired by Moroccan patterns in shades of light blue, becomes the project’s generative matrix and is echoed in the design of the vanity, creating material continuity.
The intervention is built through precise, targeted operations capable of reorganizing the space without altering its identity, maintaining a balance between the existing elements and the new additions.
