This studio is located within an iconic early 20th-century Art Nouveau building, one of the first examples of extending floral architectural composition to the large façade surfaces of a major building with shops and apartments. A renovation project in such a significant context must necessarily begin with the intention of preserving, as much as possible, the pre-existing elements that have made the place so special.

The intervention deliberately avoided traditional subdivisions through walls and doors, instead introducing semi-transparent partition elements placed orthogonally within the space to maximize the flexibility of the working areas. The main design feature defining the new space is the front entrance wall, where cladding and furnishings become the key elements and are used architecturally to lend uniqueness to the environment.

The materials selected for the new elements were chosen to harmonize with the existing features without overpowering them. The use of various perforated and transparent materials ensures visual permeability between the different areas, each of which maintains its own identity and recognizability.
